So, Penn liked my screenplay. Either that or he thought it was so beyond help that he didn't want to waste time working it over. No one else in the class said anything, either. This seems to happen a lot to me. Oh, well. Not a big deal to me in the long run. Guess we have a movie to film now, folks.
Yesterday, Lia and I went to Hyde Park and we toured around Kensington Gardens for a while. There was this gorgeous little garden right off of the palace that is open to the public. Truly, I felt as if I were in a Disney movie, because not only was everything ridiculously beautiful and colorful, but there were animals everywhere.
We met this man that embodied old British Grandfather. He had birdseed with him and nuts in his bag. He was always a little ahead of me and Lia, but when we caught up to him, he was speaking to his bag. Old people are sometimes odd, I thought, but always cute. But then we got closer and realized that a squirrel had climbed inside his bag and was rummaging around. The Brit. didn't seems terribly concerned, but was just trying to get the squirrel out of his bag. The little critter climbed out for a moment but then hopped back in. The Brit. said to the squirrel, "All right then, mate, but hurry it up, would you?"
^_^
I loved him.
I never realized just how gigantic the Prince Albert Memorial was. It's quite grand and I'm only sad we weren't there at night because I can imagine that sucker gets lit up nice and good.

We sat by the pond that's buried deep into Hyde Park. There were probably 50 swans and they were gorgeous. Very proud swans, but also quite amiable. The only other swan I've ever encountered attacked my friend, so I was not warm to them. But these just let you come up, take a picture, and then they'd drift off again, completely unconcerned with our presence.

Today, some of us are taking a trip to Notting Hill in hopes of catching Hugh Grant in The travel bookshop. Julia Roberts doesn't have to be there. In fact, I'd prefer it if she weren't around at all, although that would make quite a story, wouldn't it?
Pip pip, cherrio and all that rot!
